Emily is 3!!!!
I can not believe Emily is three! Where have the years gone I don't even know!
Emily is so smart! I love watching her learn grow. Her mind really is like sponge and she loves soaking everything up!
She is still in dance class and has learned so much! She has started really getting to know the dances and following what the teachers are doing.
She refuses to wear pants and only wants to wear dresses and skirts. I was disappointed because I got her several cute pairs of shorts for the summer and she hasn't even worn any of them but it is fun to see her being so independent and dressing herself.
We have been doing a letter a week curriculum and we have had a lot of fun doing crafts and talking about the different letters.
She has recently started trying to write her name. She does really well writing "her" E. We are still working on writing the other letters but I just love seeing her writing her name on her papers!
Summer has been really fun. We got a pool pass and have gone swimming a ton! We signed up for mommy and me swim lessons this year with Addie and Lauren and Emily's friend Paige and her mom. Emily LOVED it. She is a little fish and will swim without floats in between two people. She is so proud of herself for learning to swim.
I signed her up for fall swim lessons at the rec center and she is super excited for that.
She is a very active little girl and is always on the move its sometimes hard to keep up with all her energy.
She loves music and is always singing a song and dancing around the house.
She loves helping me make dinner. I have recently started letting her use a knife (with supervision of course) and she loves helping cutting up whatever it is we need for dinner.
She has had a growth spurt recently and some of her clothes are just a little short and her shoes are getting a little small. She is definitely going to be tall.
I am sure there are million more things I can talk about but I just want her to know how much I love her and I know a lot of you reading this love her too so thank you for that!!!
I love you Emily!
