Fall 2013
Fall is one of my favorite seasons! I love all the smells and foods and colors outside! This year has been so fun because Emily loves asking questions and is very curious about the changing seasons.
This fall we went to a pumpkin patch, had a whole week dedicated apples, made pumpkin muffins a few times, played with leaves, went on nature walks and so much more I am not thinking of!
Emily started a dance class the first week of September and loves it! The first few classes she wasn't to sure about it and either sat in my lap and watched or ran around the room like a crazy lady, but the last few classes she has done an awesome job of following the teacher and letting me stand in the hall and watch her through the windows.
In September I had a three day doula training I absolutely loved! I am excited to be Lauren's doula when she has her baby and can't wait to help other people have the birth experience they want.
Emily is such a smart little girl and I can't say enough how much I love watching her learn and grow! She is starting to count everything she sees its so cute to see her pointing things out and counting how many she can see. She loves books, we have just sat and read for hours many Times. She also loves her shows, sometimes I have to tell her no more because she can get a little addicted to good ole Netflix. I have started to introduce her to letters with an alphabet journal and she really enjoys it a lot! Its really amazing to watch her think about and process things! I am super lucky to be her mom! Potty training has not really worked out but I still ask if she wants to use the potty and wear underwear and sometime she does and sometimes she doesn't, so hopefully she will get it some day! I am sure there are a million more things I am not thinking about but just wanted to share a few things we have going on!
I hope everyone is having a great day and fall! Here are a few pics...
I love your blog. You do so much with her, she is going to be one smart little girl.
